Hello Free to Air Hobbyists
Tony Zamboni here, this is our free to air Blog. We will be keeping tab on the newest news and current affairs as it relates to the free 2 air hobby. we investigated high and low for material on how people are hacking DishNetwork. Nobody was talking about it , so I decided to write a book about it. In the book I reveal what nobody wants to talk about. This so called hobby has created a whole side different to the typical free to air that most people know about for free satellite feeds.
An “Underground Society” as you could call it was created, It would take a bit to tell the story of what is going on with this hobby. I was able to get a lot of information about what was going on, from the history to it’s current situation, but that is the story I wrote about in the blog. I will be posting here more stuff as it comes available so stay tuned…
If you want the whole story you can buy the book that tells all about it, from what happened, to how they do it. I reveal everything that I could find on it, there is more but I wasn’t able to get some of that information. The players are the Coders and the free2air receivers.
The free2air receivers get the programming and when they fail to work you have to get a “FIX” to get it to work again.This so called fix comes from a whole group of underground “Hackers” . How they are doing it is a mystery, but so far they have been able to get them done. Where are they nobody knows, maybe Canada, or Korea…
They hack it , post them , then you the consumer downloads it!
As easy as that, sort of amazing when you think about it, the advent of the internet has given this capability to the average “Joe”. Before this many years ago people needed the Cracked cards to do it, not any more , the receivers have USB ports on them for download purposes. Thus making the “Hacking’ a piece of cake….
DishNetwork is putting out new cards now and are shutting the programming down, but at this post it is still working, many channels have been lost, but for free what can you ask for ! At least you are getting something. They are implementing N3 …
What is that you ask, well that is a whole other complicated topic in itself, I takl about it in the book. But even when it all goes to N3 the rumors are that the “New” fix will be coming out. Of course there are rumors that DTV is the next target. Who knows , but I am following it and will be posting things as they come down the pipeline….
